Hydrogenation is a chemical reaction which aims to obtain unsaturated organic compounds. To do so double-bonds or carboxyl groups from the starting product are saturated. This process is also used in the oil industry to get fats from the oil itself. Hydrogenation takes place through the addition of room temperature and pressure hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst.
The scope of Zean:
Zean as process engineering takes part in the supply of not only hydrogenator but also the external elements and security which allows for the reaction to occur safely. These elements can be: hold tank, catalyst preparation tank, heat dissipation elements, filtration systems, etc.
Hydrogenator construction material can be: SS 316L, Duplex alloys, Hastelloy, etc. The equipment can be also designed to comply with GMP regulations.
- The supply of turnkey plant with: process engineering, detail engineering, automation and control.
- The incorporation of all security elements: Oxygen detection, flame arresters, etc.
- Extensive experience.
